The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on www.music-makers.co.uk. Placing an order through our site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

The Goods:

Our aim is to provide as much information as is reasonable concerning the products we sell. All images, narrative and samples on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

Pricing:

All prices on our website are shown in UK Sterling. Should you require an approximate currency conversion please email us.
The total price payable for the goods and delivery will be as shown during the checkout procedure, before payment is made. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT, if applicable, but exclusive of any international delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.
We work hard to ensure all prices on our website are correct. In the unlikely event that a publisher has increased a price substantially we reserve the right to contact you to inform you of the new price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order or pay the difference.

Delivery Charges:

All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. Our charges are as follows:
Delivery to UK – POST FREE
All orders to Europe - £3.99 per order
Delivery to the rest of the World:
orders up to £19.99 - £5.00
orders up to £39.99 - £10.00
orders up to £59.99 - £15.00
orders up to £99.99 - £20.00
orders £100.00 plus - £25.00

Delivery Schedule:

Orders are posted within 24 hours of receiving them if the item is in stock. If an item is out of stock we will email you advising of the delivery time. We aim to satisfy your order within 7 days. International orders may take slightly longer due to extended posting times. Some titles, however, may not be readily available and may take longer. If a book will take more than 10 days we will advise you of the situation and estimated delivery time. We hope you will not feel it necessary however you always have the right to cancel if you cannot wait for delivery.

Payment:

We accept all major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Switch/Maestro and American Express.

To use your credit/debit card securely, you will be transferred away from www.music-makers.co.uk to a secure payment site.  This secure site is hosted by and operated by our bankers HSBC.

Please don't be put off that the style of the website changes completely - this is deliberate, as the site that you are accessing is run by HSBC bank, a principal member of the HSBC group, one of the largest banking and financial services organisations. HSBC will undertake your card transaction on our behalf. 

Your personal card details are securely held by HSBC and at no stage will your card details ever be divulged to us. 

On successful completion of the transaction you will automatically be returned to www.music-makers.co.uk

If you are paying by credit/debit card, please ensure that your billing address matches the address your card bills are sent to.  Failure to provide the correct address could result in your transaction being declined.

We also operate a mail order service. Please be advised that you will be charged postage and packing at the current rate. Free UK postage only applies when you order through our website. You may pay via card for this service or if you prefer by cheque or postal order.  Goods will be dispatched when payment has been cleared. This can take as long as 10 days.

All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will not charge you for these and we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods. All correspondence will be made via email.

Returns Policy:

We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. We want you to be pleased with every purchase you make. If, however, you are not satisfied with your purchase and you wish to return an item you may do so in accordance with our returns policy which is shown below:
Please note that returns are not accepted unless by prior arrangement. Please email us; sales@music-makers.co.uk or ring first on 01827 254900. Any queries relating to your order must be notified within 14 days of receipt.  Once returns authorisation has been given goods must be returned in its original condition and in the original packaging or packaging to an equivalent standard.  
We do not accept returns on CDs, DVDs and Software items unless they are faulty. For the avoidance of doubt, such Products shall be marked 'non-returnable' on the Website.
If you are returning an item because it's faulty or we have made an error, we will refund you the cost of delivering it (where charged) and your cost to return it. Otherwise you will be responsible for these charges.
If you are returning an item that has been ordered in error, we will refund you the cost of the item less a 10% re-stocking fee and the postage it has cost us to post it out to you originally. You will also be liable for the cost of the return postage. Goods must be returned in its original condition and in the original packaging or packaging to an equivalent standard.  

Cancelling Your Contract:

You may cancel the contract by email to sales@music-makers.co.uk at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which the Product is delivered to you.  If you cancel the contract you must return the Product to us at your own cost and risk.  Goods must be returned in its original condition and in the original packaging or packaging to an equivalent standard.  
You must return the Product to us within 14 days of receiving it. Refunds will not be given on cancelled items until they have been delivered back to us. Provided the Product is received in its original condition your card will be credited within 30 days of receipt of the Product.
Please be aware that you will not be entitled to cancel the contract for the supply of any of the following:

• Product which has been changed, altered, adjusted or personalised in any way.
• Product obtained by us especially for you so as to meet a specific item request.
• Product which cannot be cancelled after delivery by reason of its very nature, for example reasons of personal hygiene such as reeds. For reasons of copyright such as CDs, DVDs and Software items. For the avoidance of doubt, such Products shall be marked 'non-returnable' on the Website.

Privacy Policy:

The Music Makers do not disclose customer’s information to third parties. This information will only be used by The Music Makers to contact our customer’s directly.
The Music Makers are registered with Data Commissioner and comply with its regulations under the Data Protection Act 1998.
Customers have the opportunity to opt out of marketing emails we send.
Cookies are used on this shopping site but only to track the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

General:

These terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The terms and conditions shown above do not affect your statutory rights. To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age. We will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to the terms and conditions as detailed above.
